GLORIA LUJAN RUDOLPH is a Florida Attorney whose practice areas include: Criminal Defense,
Family Law and Personal Injury. Gloria is an Associate at Roland H. Acosta & Associates, P.A.
Gloria received her earliest training on how to be a lawyer from her father, David J. Lujan, who she
would watch work through weekdays and weekends, for his clients. Her father's discipline and work
ethic as a criminal defense attorney shaped Gloria's belief that hard work and dedication are
fundamental to being an effective attorney.
Gloria is a native of the U.S. Territory of Guam, where she was raised. The practice of law has a
significant presence in Gloria's family: her grandfather was one of the first local judges in the Island
Court of Guam; her cousin was an Associate Justice in the Supreme Court of Guam; her sister is in
General Practice in Guam; and her cousin is a federal public defender in Guam.
Gloria graduated from New York University with a degree in History, then she attended Benjamin N.
Cardozo School of Law where she earned her J.D. While attending law school, Gloria was selected to
participate in the Criminal Defense Clinic, where she represented her first clients, charged with
misdemeanors before the New York City Criminal Court. Gloria achieved remarkable success in the
Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, when her team mate didn't show up to perform his half of the
defense for the final "trial" exercise of the program. Gloria put on the defense alone and succeeded in
obtaining a not guilty verdict.
Gloria first practiced law in an international insurance defense firm, then fulfilled her goal to work with
her father in his general practice firm. Gloria possesses valuable insight into how insurance
companies resolve claims against them, and extensive experience in representing clients to success
for personal injury claims, criminal defense and family law matters. Gloria's success is driven by her
commitment to helping people solve their problems and by her belief in the absolute necessity that an
attorney be as responsive, compassionate and diligent in her work as possible.
